These Cherry Emollient Cheeseflower Cookies are one of my family's challenger Christmastime cookies! We've been making these festive, melt-in-your voice cookies for as tenacious as I can recollect.
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2½ cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
- Maraschino cherries, halved
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda

Directions
- Using an automobile mixer, take butter and ointment cheese together. Add edulcorate, egg, and almond get and mix until cured conjunct. Sieve dry ingredients together over the mixer bowlful; mix on worst zip until conjunct.
