Cherry Emollient Cheeseflower Cookies #christmas #cookies

These Cherry Emollient Cheeseflower Cookies are one of my family's challenger Christmastime cookies! We've been making these festive, melt-in-your voice cookies for as tenacious as I can recollect.


Ingredients
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • Maraschino cherries, halved
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda  
Directions
  1. Using an automobile mixer, take butter and ointment cheese together. Add edulcorate, egg, and almond get and mix until cured conjunct. Sieve dry ingredients together over the mixer bowlful; mix on worst zip until conjunct.
