Pizza Grilled Cheese

Grilled cheeseflower is seriously the saint of all sandwiches with toasty cooked lettuce and an ooey gooey cheesy midriff.

In this pizza grilled cheeseflower recipe, a classic cooked cheeseflower sandwich is updated with pepperoni, pizza seasonings, and toppings then cooked to crispy cheesy state.


INGREDIENTS
  • 4 slices Sara Lee Artisano Bread
  • 3 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce plus extra for dipping
  • 2 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon thinly sliced basil
  • pinch of dried oregano
  • 24 thin slices pepperoni about 1″ diameter
  • butter
PEPPERONI CRUST (OPTIONAL)
  • 6 slices thin pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons mozzarella cheese
Manual
  1. Preheat a non-stick pan over substance emotionalism.
