Ingredients
For Noodles:
- Vegetable Oil Or Sesame Oil – 3 Tbsp + 2 Tsp
- Bell Pepper, Julienned – 3/4 Cup (I Have Used Red, Green And Yellow)
- Broccoli Florets – 1/4 Cup
- Mushrooms, Sliced – ½ Cup
- Onion, Sliced – 1
- Carrot, Julienned – 1 Medium
- Handful Of Whole-Grain Spaghetti (Or Other Noodles)
- Teriyaki Sauce – 50g
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper – 1/2 Tsp
- Red Chili Flakes – 1/4 Tsp
- Salt To Taste
- Garlic, Finely Chopped – 1 Tbsp
- Hot Sauce – 1 1/2 Tbsp (Optional)\
For Garnish:
- Sesame Seeds
- Roasted Peanuts
Instructions
- First, put a large pot of water on to boil. When it boils, add in the noodles.
- Once the noodles are cooked, strain them in a colander or strainer.
- Rinse under a running tap with some cold water, and then add in 2 tsp vegetable oil and mix well, so they don’t stick together.
- Heat oil in another pan, and add chopped garlic. Saute for a minute.
- Add all the vegetables and saute for few minutes.
- Add ground pepper and chili flakes, and saute them till vegetables are almost cooked but still crunchy.
- Add in the teriyaki sauce and let everything soak up the sauce for a few minutes.
- Add in the cooked noodles, mix well and let them soak up the remaining sauce.
- Add hot sauce and salt. Mix well and cook for few more minutes.
- Garnish with some sesame seeds and roasted peanuts. Enjoy!
